Fabric that reacts to the wearers movements


The researchers at MIT have invented a new fabric that reacts with the wearers movements and even breathing.
It’s called OmniFiber.

The fabric can sense movement then it will automatically pulse, stretch, curl or bend to adapt to the wearers needs, all this while still remaining the same size as norma fabric.

From watching the video this seems to be enabled via compressed air that then controls the threads.
